well I guess it's been about 2 years since I've written a journal, so here we go!
Been busy with my classes and got a promotion, so it's upped my work. (apparently the reward system is such: if the students like you, you get more classes.. great incentive) Excited and stressed about the promo, but what job isn't like that hey? I've currently started to draw more (especially in trainings where it's super duper pointless for me to pay attention in, it's for the new teachers.) however I only have my phone to take pictures of them. Thankfully my phone has a decent quality for capturing pictures
At the end of August I will be returning to the states for a month then returning back to China to finish my contract. Not quite sure what my plans are for the future, which is frustrating me, however, I am working on this 'get a chinese boyfriend' plan and will soon execute it. Wish me luck! I have been here almost two years and have had 2 boyfriends which of whom were not Chinese. Indian and Filipino. hehe nothing like being original!
Ironically, I draw a LOT in class and often have to make extra materials for classes that require drawing. These skills are extremely useful when I need to make a flashcard too! My students say I am good at art, then I bashfully admit to them that I would rather be an art teacher than an English teacher, though I DO enjoy teaching English. Perhaps if I were to teach my second language rather than my first, I would enjoy it more? I think it would be easier Anyway, finished here now!! c ya
hey I miss you too!!!! sorry, I have been so busy and we don't have a scanner to put up any work, so I have not been here regularly x.x stupid work making me busy.. how have you been???
hon :), where have you been? No scanner? :( mine is bitching too, don't think it will surive this year (evilgrin). I am fine. The year started with tears and happy now. Work is ok, but there're some issues which needs to be sorted and my car was eating a huge amount of money, because of the brakes. I love my car, but it's getting more expensive with each year... I want to draw my car or a part of it, what do you think about it? It may not be the usual stuff I do, but it would be fun.
